Recommended for ages between 8 years to 12 years, the story is about two friends, 13-year-old middle graders of opposite personalities. Liam is laid back; Aria loves new experiences; he is a coding and sports addict, and she is passionate about history. Living in Sommetville, a typical city where nothing out of the ordinary ever happens, life is laid back, and every new day is pretty much the repetition of yesterday. But a turn of unprecedented events caused by Aria’s curiosity to cross the red line of rules and discipline opened the door of the past, leading them to travel to Ancient Egypt. They find themselves stranded in a 3,000 years old kingdom.

Shocked and confused at first, the two meet Asim and his all-too-wised donkey Atlas, with whom they will embark on an exciting mission across Ancient Egypt. Things become intense, serious, and frightful when they realize they are here for a big reason! To save the Kingdom against an enemy which is mightier and more substantial than them. What will Aria and Liam do in a place utterly alien to them? Will they save the Kingdom, or will evil reign supreme? Read the complete preface at The Coded Papyrus – Prologue.

About Aria and Liam Book Series:

From the quiet island of Sommetville to the echoing corridors of history, Aria and Liam have faced mysteries spanning eras, civilizations, and legends. Whether it’s outwitting ancient gods, unearthing Roman conspiracies, or sailing to lost civilizations, their adventures always come with a generous sprinkle of humor and a big dash of adventures.

About the author:

The author of the book, Coline Monsarrat shares a feverish passion for history; an enthusiastic, dedicated, and admirable storyteller, she always found herself in the history section going through the fascinating, unforgettable stories of history. There are no ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ in history, but she was compelled to think, what if any event or moment happened differently? What if the swing of a pendulum swung the other way? In her search to share her passion for history with children, she created a historical fiction series, Aria and Liam, where history, adventure, and friendships intertwine. The first book of Aria & Liam has a message about love, courage, and friendship amid a roller coaster ride of emotions.
